Learn at your own pace
Take part in our regular video calls with our advisors or purchase a pillar lesson and take part in our core curriculum learning at your own pace. You have lifetime access to the training, so you can go through the materials each week as they’re released in the student portal, or you can slow things down and work on your own schedule. You can revisit and review the training materials any time. Remember, learning a diabetes education that matters is not a linear event!

Pillar 2: Sustained activity: Learn how to conduct your favorite endurance sports activities, navigating insulin and nutrition before, during and after to greatly reduce hyper or hypoglycemia. Learn the Scherb Methods and advice to fine tune insulin adjustments so that you can be ready for any activity with a pro active planning approach.
Pillar 3: Non-Sustained activity: Learn how to take on recreational sports such as soccer, basketball, walking or hiking with T1D. Learn the Scherb Methods and advice to fine tune insulin adjustments so that you can be ready for any activity with a pro active planning approach.
Pillar 4 Nutrition and weight management; Learn how to shift nutrition and insulin to have great energy, balanced glucose levels and prevent weight gain using the Scherb Methods. Understand the tactics and strategies for leaning out with T1D and how Insulin is a driver for metabolic weight gain and loss. Work with our Glucose Advisors meal plans for the best approaches to your insulin delivery for a high fat, high carb, high protein or balanced diet.
Pillar 5: Special events, races, games, recitals, matches, competitions and life events; Learn how to adjust your insulin for special situations using the Scherb Method algorithms and nutrition strategies. Learn how to avoid the spikes and crashes before, during and after activities that prevent you from leading a fun active lifestyle.
